Angora Shrug

I've wanted to make this shrug pattern for some time and I finally found just the right yarn to do it with. The fiber is "broken black" (think pinto horse) French Angora so it has lots of halo. I lightly carded the fiber just as it came out of the container and let the black and white fibers align as they would. The batts spun up nicely into a variagated grey. Shrugs will be available later this summer.

The yarn patterned itself beautifully when it was knit. Overall length from cuff to cuff is 31 inches. The price of this luxurious shrug is $200.
Angora Blend Scarf

We also blend sheep wool with our angora at the rate of 2/3 sheep wool to 1/3 angora. Corriedale sheep and grey angora were used for this medium grey scarf. Also available in white. Dimensions are approximately 8 1/4 inches wide and 48 inches long. Price is $95.
Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless gloves are all the rage this year and the body of these are all a sheep wool and angora blend. The cuffs are handspun blends of sheep wool and alpaca. They will fit most women. Price is $35.
Hand Made Felt Covered Buttons

Shetland wool was used to make the felt to cover these metal buttons. We're working on more colors, and pierced earrings are also available. Prices of buttons vary according to size.
